Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation refers to the long and sometimes painful process of recovering from events or accidents that temporarily or permanently diminish the body and the brain’s ability to function normally. Most people would prefer this recovery to take place at home.

Good rehabilitation depends on the implementation of some basic principles and these include a full evaluation of the patient’s potential. Motivation is a major factor and may take some time to assess. Here the support of the family and carers is central. Our trained, sympathetic care assistants understand that if motivation is poor, rehabilitation measures may not succeed.

CareWorld Care Services provides regular care visits from one hour to live-in, depending on the condition and needs of the person undergoing rehabilitation. From a simple everyday accident like a broken leg to more complex conditions such as stroke, our service is flexible and we can tailor any care package to the changing needs of the service user.

CareWorld is a preferred provider of home care services to the HSE.  We provide services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  A CareWorld supervisor can be reached around the clock. Our care and support staff are fully trained, supervised, spot-checked, garda-vetted and insured.  Grants are available from the HSE that will help cover the cost of our service. Tax relief is also available for those who qualify.
