Understanding Sensory Impairment
CareWorld provides dedicated care workers with special training to support and enable those suffering from sensory impairment. All care workers undergo disability awareness training, the aim of which is to remove some of the communication, attitudinal and physical barriers that prevent people with sensory impairment from fully participating in society. This can mean supporting elderly people continuing to live at home or enabling a young person to attend college and pursue their chosen career.
CareWorld is a preferred provider of home care services to the HSE. We provide services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. A CareWorld supervisor can be reached around the clock. Our care and support staff are fully trained, supervised, spot-checked, garda-vetted and insured. Grants are available from the HSE that will help cover the cost of our service. Tax relief is also available for those who qualify.
